A day at Ikea
A day at Ikea
Though po po was admitted on 20 Mar 09 but the kids behaved well at the hospital while visiting. Charmaine's school holiday is ending soon so they deserve a playtime.
So off we went to Ikea Alexandra which is near the hospital. With the kiddos at the playground, we managed to steal some time to do some quiet shopping.
Sigh 5 mins into the shop, call received to say Aden was crying. So we brought him out, 10 mins later he said he wants to go back so off we sent him in again. This time we realli had some quiet moments. We finished our lunch first before picking them.
They too took their lunch at the cafe and we let them play a bit at the children area and called it a day.
P.S. Love this picture of Charmaine with Daddy.
Japanese Dining Sun - Chijmes @ 18 Mar 09
Japanese Dining Sun - Chijmes @ 18 Mar 09
Today is nai nai's 4th death anniversary. Daddy and mummy took leave so decided to bring the kids for a good Japanese makan session with the 30% discount.
How could we ever leave home without the DVD player to keep Aden at the table, it is a must have in the bag especially when we are heading to the restaurant.
Look at the delicious food we ordered. The kids enjoyed themselves. So mummy's damage to the pocket of $63.45 after discount was worth it.
P.S. during this meal, mummy very busy. Busy feeding the kids and Aden visited the toilet 3x within the 1.5 hours. Each time he says he needs to pee, mummy had to run with him even though he has diaper. But lucky no false alarm if not mummy will not believe his " big bad wolf" tale anymore. Of course with these many visits to the loo, mummy did not manage to take picture of 2 other dishes.
Big Lollipop
Big Lollipop
Bought this big lollipop for the kids from Macau. Ha ha maybe guilty so just have to lug it back for them.
See how the kids so eager to have it while CY was trying so hard to open. Aden refused to let go once he laid his hand on it. Of course the poor lolli has got a "accident" and the cover cracked.
mummy's heart oso cracked with it. So sim tia.
See how tired I am!!

Lost my HP!!!!
Lost my HP!!!!
forgetting my hp at home is very common. Yday I kept having this feeling that something is going to happen. And I lost my HP!!!!! Can you imagine I just walked out after paying Go Go Bambini, my friend still saw me holding it. Then after leaving dempsey for a while , I was checking on my phone and I cannot find it !!!!
Went back to search but in vain. so no choice blocked the SIM card to avoid abused usage. Who knows, I decided to call Singtel again to reconnect as hoping for some kind soul to pick up and waiting for my call to arrange collection. Oh dear, after half an hour it is still not connected. The 3rd CSE says I need to off and on to be connected to network again. But he gave me a solution to send sms and hope for that person to call. It is not true. SMS cannot get through if the network is down. The whole pm till night I am calling singtel and getting all inconsistent answer.
In the end the 4th CSE kenna big time from me and I have to speak to the supervisor to complain. See what they are going to offer me tomorrow.
My SE G900, my photos in the memory card, my contact numbers, my credit cards and arrrgh my Coach Wristlet !!!!!! So fed up , it is all GONE!!!!!!

½ block of Kraft Cheddar Cheese, diced
4 tsp of double action baking powder
3 tbsp of brown sugar

Spring onions, chopped. Estimate ½ small bowl but can adjust according to taste
1 can of anchor beer
4 tbsp of butter, melted
Method
Preheat oven to 190°C
Mix all the dry ingredients together
Add cheese, ham and spring onion and mix well
Stir in the can of beer
Pour into the bread pan (large) and spoon/drip the melted butter evenly onto the top of the mixture.
Bake for about 40mins or bread until brown is golden brown.
Note: For sweet bread, you can substitute ham and spring onions with apricot, sunflower seeds, walnut, cranberries etc.
Ingredients – minus coarse black pepper

Bento Trial #2
Bento Trial #2
Charmaine requested for sushi for her recess snack. mummy need to trial and error to ensure I know what are her favourite stuff before I realli gear into the effort of making a nice compilation of food.
So it is just cube japanese rice with either wakame goma or nori goma. As for the faces, once again must use what I purchased. Seaweed with nori punchers.
Hope you enjoy your recess today.

Cute Pose
It is only 7.50 am on a sunday morning. We were up early because we are catching the ride on Singapore flyer at 9.30 am. Being kiasu, daddy says must leave early, fetch yeye and try to find where the car park is.
So while waiting for daddy to drive the car down from carpark. Check out the kids' pose with their barang barang. Each must carry Lil Miss or Mr characters plush to match their tees. Look at how many things they are bringing with them.

Lego World
Lego World
Have never buy our kiddos lego. But Charmaine has requested for 1 last Xmas and I guessed she must be deprived. Xiao Gu bought a set for Aden's Birthday and he just got it last sunday.
So have to be fair to Charmaine I also got her one. No regrets as it sure is fun to look at how creative they are even without parental guidance.
Check out how the lego box can make Aden do silly things too.

Kiddy Weekend Lunch
Kiddy Weekend Lunch
I am only a weekend cook. Not very good cook though. First time fried egg noodle for the kids. Lucky they accepted the taste quite well.
Of course mummy has got tools to cover her cooking flaw. Served in Doraemon plate for Her and Thomas one for Him. Cocktail sausage served in heart shape, seedless grapes, omelette with cheese moulded with flower cutter and not forgetting seaweed with expression puncher.

MR Challenge #4
MR Challenge #4
Tough challenge since it is a album. As usual always burnt midnight oil and scrap only at the very last min. With the papers cut and binded, managed to scrap Aden's 12 Months record within 2.5 hours. Simple one but glad to use up K&Co BW Small Wonder boy papers, stickers, epoxy and chipboard.
