Count down to P1

30 Dec, managed to coax Charmaine to sleep at 9 pm. Waking her up at 5.45 am so she will be more prepared on Friday. It was quite a easy job to make both kids sleep within 10 mins. Charmaine was probably tired since she missed her nap for her 4-5.30 pm Berries Class. Poor gal, she is going to be so tired daily from 2 Jan 2009. No more beauty nap for her.

What is mummy doing at this hour? Just woke up ? no no no. She is doing the last minute work for Charmaine's uniform. I have been stitching 5 sets of name tag into the uniforms since 2300 hours. Being perfectionist, I do not want the stitches to show at the back of the garment so it does not make Charmaine feels uncomfy. In additional, also double stitched all buttons to ensure it is secured.

More things to be done later. Better catch some sleep now before waking Charmaine up at 5.45 am and hope I won't be yawning during the PV briefing at 9.30 am. Nite nite.

Getting ready for P1

Is Charmaine ready ? Hmm , she does not look forward at all. Everyday pushing her luck to sleep later. Still sleeping till 15 mins before we are getting out of house for work. Who to blame for her "nua-ness" ?

Just confirmed with the bus driver that she will be picked up at 6.15 am by Bus No. 45 ( 8888) at Blk 546 since it is big bus. Coming back by Bus no. 54 (2243) estimated to leave school only at 2 pm due to chaotic first few days and reach home only by 2.35 to 2.40 pm. Poor gal will be starved. ( Oops, forgot to ask if I can follow the school bus for first few days!!!)

Checklist for what is to be done.
1. School uniforms - Bought but not washed or stitched with name tag
2. Shoes and Socks - Done
3. School Bag, Stationery, Water Bottle - Done
4. Books and Chinese Character Cards - Done
5. Passport - size photos - To be taken
6. Basket for leaving books in school - Not yet
7. Padlock for locker - Not yet
8. Bus number to be written on name tag given during orientation - Oh no, name tag is missing !!!!

Only 3 more days , and so many things undone !!!

27 sep 2008, nice to have Ming, Dorcas, Jennis, Ginny and Annissa over at my place for a crop. Only 2 hardworking mummies were busy scrapping while the rest chit chatting , looking at stash and waiting for inspiration. But I still managed to complete my take for Moments Recorded - Challenge #2 Firsts before 2359 hrs on the same day. Always wanted to scrap on my preggie ultrasound scan. This is a 2 pages layout - Hajimemashite ( in Japanese, nice meeting you for the first time) for my first appointment with gynae for both Charmaine and Aden.
